Store security told police that Christopher Jimarre Jones, 26, of Detroit, had been inside the Walmart for more than four hours. They said he was making guests and customers uncomfortable, and at one point, told security he might return with a gun next time, officials said.

When officers spoke to Jones, they found the knife in his front jacket pocket, according to authorities. He was taken into custody for warrants and weapons violations, Troy police said.

Jones was arraigned Nov. 8 at 52-4 District Court on charges of carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent and disturbing the peace.
