DETROIT – Police are investigating after a young woman was found dead on Detroit’s east side.
Family said the woman was in her vehicle and on the phone with her cousin and said someone was shooting at her.

She tried to escape and that’s when her vehicle struck a silver vehicle and started rolling.
The victim’s vehicle crashed into a daycare.
Police are looking at camera footage from nearby businesses.
The investigation is ongoing.
