CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police say that Chippewa Valley High School was under a temporary lockdown Friday morning amid an investigation.
According to Clinton Township Police, on April 1, the high school was on lockdown temporarily as officers investigated. A gun was reportedly recovered from inside the school.

Police said that nobody was hurt and that no one was in harm’s way amid the lockdown. One subject is in custody, officials said, though it is unknown if that subject is a student.
The high school students will be released as scheduled, police said. The students are said to have a half-day of school.
No other details have been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
