Tigers open season vs. White Sox on Friday

The Detroit Tigers return to Comerica Park this week with Opening Day on Friday, and that means the fans will be roaring along with them.

It’ll be the first real Opening Day since 2019 for the city, with big crowds expected, despite some questionable weather possible. But hey, that’s Opening Day in Detroit.

On Local 4 News at 7 a.m., we talked with the director of marketing for the Tigers about what fans can expect around the ballpark this year, including tailgate parties, happy hour deals and the return of Friday night fireworks at Comerica Park. Watch the full interview in the video player above.
