SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Shelby Township police shut down Schoenherr Road after a car crashed into an electrical police.
The crash happened around 1 p.m. Wednesday (May 4) in the area of Schoenherr and Hall roads, according to police.

Wires fell across Schoenherr Road, so officials shut it down between Hall Road and Culver Drive, they said. Traffic signals at the intersection are out, and drivers are asked to avoid the area, authorities said.
It’s unclear how long repairs will take, police said.
