Last week, the Detroit Police Department held a two-day operation in honor of Saniyah Pugh, an 11-year-old who was fatally shot and killed in her home on June 4.
Operation Saniyah allowed police to make many recoveries and issued over a thousand tickets.
Below are the stats from the operation:
- Total Arrest: 85
- Total Weapons Recovered: 22
- Total Traffic Stops: 782
- Vehicles Recovered: 3
- Impounded Vehicles: 44
- Total Tickets Issued: 1,297
- Total Narcotics Recovered (street value): $2.3 million
