Flo Rida, Fitz and the Tantrums, 311 -- among many performing at the 25th Arts, Beats and Eats

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – The annual Soaring Eagle Arts, Beats and Eats festival presented by Flagstar Bank will be returning to Royal Oak this September over Labor Day weekend.

Last year the festival had more than 365,000 visitors during the four-day festival and generated nearly $400,000 for local charity donations. The festival started in 1998 and more than $6 million has been raised for community and charitable organizations in Metro Detroit.

Below are the dates and admission details for the festival:

  • Friday, Sept. 2: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. (Admission is free before 5 p.m. and $10 after 5 p.m.)
  • Saturday, Sept. 3: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. (Admission is $5 before 3 p.m. and $10 after)
  • Sunday, Sept. 4: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. (Admission is $5 before 3 p.m. and $10 after)
  • Monday, Sept. 5: 11 a.m.-9 p.m. (Admission is $5 before 3 p.m. and $10 after)

What to know about the arts

The 2022 Beaumont Health Juried Fine Art Show will take place all four days of the festival. Friday through Sunday the art show will be available to view from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Monday the art show will be available from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be over 150 artists from across the country showcasing their work on various mediums.
