DETROIT – Police are looking for help locating a man accused of fatally shooting another last week in Detroit.
Detroit police are looking for Demetrius Johnson, 26, who is said to be involved in a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, Aug. 26.

According to authorities, at about 9:53 p.m. that Friday, Johnson was driving a gray Ford Mustang and started following a 22-year-old man driving a white Toyota with a female passenger. Johnson is accused of firing a shot at the 22-year-old man in the area of East 7 Mile Road and Sherwood Street, then fleeing the scene.
The 22-year-old died from his injuries. The female passenger was not hurt, officials said.
Detroit police have not been able to locate Johnson following the shooting. The man’s Mustang has reportedly been recovered by investigators, however.
