DETROIT – A woman who heard a gunshot while she was talking to a man over the phone went to his Detroit apartment, saw a bullet hole in the door, and found him dead, according to officials.
The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday (Nov. 7) in the 19200 block of Lahser Road on the city’s west side.

Police said a woman was talking to a man on the phone when she heard a loud noise. The man stopped responding to her, she told authorities.
She went to the man’s apartment and saw a bullet hole in the door, according to police. When she went inside the apartment, she found his body, officials said.
He was in his 20s, authorities said.
No information about the shooter has been revealed. Police continue to investigate.
