It was a bhaaad situation, to say the least.
A sheep wandering around Lake Chemung, which is in Howell and Brighton in Livingston County, broke through the very thin ice on Monday.
The far-from-sheepish Brighton Area Fire Authority hoofed it over to the lake and made a quick rescue of the animal.
Officials said the sheep was reunited with its owners and crews went on with their days. Nice work!
