CANTON, Mich. – Buddy’s Pizza announced it’s opening their 23rd Michigan location in Canton Township later this year.
The 1,500-square-foot carry-out location will be located at 42911 Ford Road.

Buddy’s first location opened in 1946 in Detroit at the corner of Six Mile and Conant under the name “Buddy’s Rendezvous.” Creator Gus Guerra used square blue steel pans intended to hold nuts and bolts at local automotive plants to create square pizzas.
