DEWITT TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A Michigan home that was built in the 1990s and looks like something out of the future is now up for sale.
The house is in Dewitt Township and was recently placed on the market for about $360,000.
“Oh my gosh, it looks like a flying saucer landed on top of a hill,” said Stacie Neros, of Keller Williams Realty.
The previous owner, Robert Clark, built the home in 1994 and lived there until he died in December.
“He put a lot of time into that property,” said Clark’s friend, Gary Folkringa.
Folkringa said Clark made lasting friendships throughout their neighborhood. His house didn’t just catch the eye from outside -- the inside brought twists and turns in every room.
“The mathematics involved in creating those curves -- Bob had to be very educated,” Folkringa said.
Neros said the home is unlike any other she’s been asked to sell.
“I was warned it was a very unique residence,” Neros said. “But I was very surprised to see what I saw.”
As soon as the house went on the market, it was booked with back-to-back showings.
“I really am hoping someone will buy that property and see what a jewel they have there,” Folkringa said.
