ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. – One person was taken to the hospital, while several others were hurt after some fireworks were erratically shot into the crowd that was watching the City of Allegan’s fireworks show.
The incident occurred Tuesday (July 4) in Allegan County.
Cellphone footage captured the moment when the fireworks landed in the crowd, forcing people to run for cover.
The city said the fireworks show was contracted through the “Wolverine Fireworks Display.” They also said that the incident was unintentional and that it had worked with the company in the past.
