HARPER WOODS, Mich. – Harper Woods police are searching for a shooter in a newer Dodge Charger with a bad paint job after one person was killed and another was injured early Thursday morning.
Officers were called around 8:55 a.m. Thursday, July 13, to the 19300 block of Kelly Road. When they arrived, police found a 37-year-old man dead and a 25-year-old man injured.
The 25-year-old was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he is stable.
Police said the shooter was about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and had a medium build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, white shoes, and possibly a ski mask.
He left in a newer-style Dodge Charger with tinted windows and a “poor black paint job,” according to authorities. Officials believe the paint was spray-painted onto the car.
