DETROIT – A woman in her 20s was killed overnight while she was inside a car in Detroit, police said.
The shooting happened at 12:28 a.m. Thursday, July 13, in the 19400 block of Binder Street.
Officials said the woman was inside a car when she was struck by gunfire. Medics rushed her to a nearby hospital, but she died from her injuries.
It’s unclear who shot the woman, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unknown, according to authorities.
Detroit homicide detectives are handling the investigation.
