ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Officials said they found 2 kilograms of fentanyl, 1 kilogram of meth, 3,500 pills, four guns, cocaine, and heroin while searching the home of a suspected drug dealer in Macomb County.
The discovery was made Thursday, July 13, at a home in Roseville, according to authorities.
Warren police Commissioner Bill Dwyer said his department received an anonymous tip about a 23-year-old Roseville man selling drugs out of his home. During the investigation, officers learned the man had been convicted of a felony and was on probation for drug crimes.
When authorities searched the man’s home Thursday, they said they found drugs, drug manufacturing equipment, and guns.
Here’s everything they seized:
- 2 kilograms of fentanyl.
- 1 kilogram of methamphetamine.
- 3,500 methamphetamine pills.
- A small amount of cocaine.
- A small amount of heroin.
- Four guns, including one with a fully automatic switch intact.
- A narcotic pill press.
The man was taken into custody without incident and brought to the Warren Police Department jail, officials said.
Police are working to determine whether the man will be charged in state or federal court.
“This suspect is a convicted felon who was in possession of 2 kilograms of fentanyl and illegal firearms,” Dwyer said. “Thanks to the efforts of the SID unit, a large amount of deadly fentanyl and illegal weapons are off the streets. I am confident that this suspect will be facing some serious charges based on this investigation, possibly in the federal court system.”
