INKSTER, Mich. – Inkster police say the man who was at large after shooting his girlfriend in the neck over the weekend has been arrested.
Officials say Andre Williams Jr., 37, was arrested Tuesday (Oct. 10) at 8 p.m.
The initial incident occurred on Saturday when officials say Williams Jr., shot the woman after an argument at a home on Biltmore Street near Stollman Drive.
Police say the woman was hospitalized and listed in critical condition.
Officials say they believed the 37-year-old was inside the home when they arrived at the scene, but Williams Jr. had already fled when the SWAT team entered.
Before his arrest, police say they had been looking for Williams Jr. since Sunday (Oct. 8) night.
