Officials say the two suspects who were armed with a gun targeted the postal worker demanding keys to postal boxes in broad daylight. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Police say both suspects, who wore all-black clothing and ski masks, approached the mail carrier and forcibly demanded the keys. The suspects took the keys to the postal boxes and fled the area in a newer model mid-sized silver Hyundai SUV.

The Northville Township Police Department shared the information with surrounding law enforcement agencies, which led to the Livonia Police Department locating and stopping the suspect vehicle on I-96 near Middlebelt Road and being taken into custody.
