Here are some tips to help you avoid puppy adoption scams in Metro Detroit

For many, the holidays are a popular time to add a pet to the family. Unfortunately, the internet has made it far too easy for scammers to exploit people, especially when it comes to puppies in Metro Detroit.

Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said she is trying to crack down, but there are some steps everyone should take to protect themselves.

We’re not saying that every online breeder is terrible news, but based on numerous Help Me Hank investigations and Nessel, who talks about this every year this time of year, says there’s a cautionary tale to be told.
