Police arrest 26-year-old man for running drug house in Port Huron

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force has arrested Jason Badger, 26, for running a drug house in Port Huron.

The arrest occurred on Thursday (Dec. 7) in Marysville during a traffic stop.

The St. Clair County Drug Task Force concluded their investigation into the sales of cocaine from the drug house in the 2700 block of Military in the city of Port Huron.

While the investigation was taking place at the traffic stop, police say cocaine was located, and Badger attempted to destroy it by stepping on it.

The 26-year-old was arrested and transported to the St. Clair County Jail. A search warrant was then executed at the drug house, and during the search at the home, psilocybin mushrooms, suboxone, analogs, two handguns, ammo, a scale, and packaging were located.

Badger was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of hallucinogens, felony firearm, destruction of evidence, and maintaining a drug house.

Badger was charged in the 72nd District Court on Dec. 10 and given a $40,000 bond.
