Henry Ford II High School student held without bond for alleged sexual assault

School says incident appears to be isolated

A Henry Ford II High School student has been held without bond for allegedly sexually assaulting another student.

The alleged incident occurred on Tuesday (Dec. 12) when a 17-year-old sexually assaulted another student at their high school.

The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office charged the teen with criminal sexual conduct in the third degree (15-year felony).

The prosecutor’s office motioned to waive the case to the Macomb County Circuit Court, where the 17-year-old can be tried as an adult.

His next court date is Monday (Jan. 8) at 8:30 a.m.

“This is a serious crime, and we will treat it as such. We will continue to pursue justice and seek accountability for the victim,” said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido.
