A small earthquake was detected Wednesday at the Southeast Michigan-Canada border, along the St. Clair River.
According to data from the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.4 magnitude earthquake was reported near Corunna, Canada, which is in Ontario, right across the river from St. Clair and Marysville, Michigan. There were some reports of residents feeling the earthquake from across the river.

The earthquake was very small on the Richter scale, so not a lot of people noticed it, and there were no reports of damage or injuries.
The last earthquake detected in Southeast Michigan was back in August of 2020 when a 3.2 magnitude quake was reported in Monroe County.
