The Lions-Cowboys game ended in dramatic fashion, with a controversial flag that cost Detroit a win. But the ref is standing by the call.

In the final moments of the game, Detroit decided to go for two after scoring a potential game-tying touchdown with 23 seconds left.

Replay shows Lions were clearly robbed of 2-point conversion vs. Cowboys

The Lions-Cowboys game on Saturday night ended with a controversial call against Detroit, wiping away the game-winning points from the scoreboard with 23 seconds left.

Lions QB Jared Goff would lead the Lions down the field for a game-tying touchdown. Dan Campbell decided to go for two, to take the lead. They ran a play-action throw to Lions tackle Taylor Decker, but refs ruled that he hadn’t declared, and wiped away the try.

4 killed in Northfield Township house explosion

Northfield Township Police said a fourth person has died, two others remain hospitalized in critical condition after a home explosion Saturday afternoon.

It happened in the 8000 block of Winters Lane around 3:50 p.m., according to police. The victims have not been identified.

“You have three deceased on scene, it’s terrible,” Northfield Township police Lt. David Powell told Local 4 on the scene. “Our officers got a call just a little while ago that somebody found debris on the other side of 23 (US 23) with some paperwork on it, so we went over and collected that to see if it was from that and it is debris from the house explosion.”
