DETROIT – Police seek help identifying a man involved in the robbery of a Dollar Store on Detroit’s west side.

The robbery occurred on Sunday (Dec. 24) at 10 a.m. in the 19800 block of Plymouth Road, where officials say the man grabbed multiple items and attempted to leave the location.

Police employees approached the man to retrieve the items, but he brandished a handgun and fled on foot.

The man is described as 50-55 years old, 160-200 pounds, with a light beard.

He was last seen wearing a black winter coat with fur on the hood, a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, and light blue jeans.
