A 30-year-old Shelby Township man was charged in connection with stabbing his mother.
Allegedly, on Tuesday (Jan. 9), Miles Farish stabbed his mother multiple times while she was asleep in her bed.

Farish was charged with assault with intent to murder (Life felony). He was charged in Shelby Township District Court, where bond was set at $2 million cash only, and if released, the defendant must wear a steel GPS tether and have no contact with the victim.
A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Thursday (Jan. 25) at 1:30 p.m., and a preliminary exam is scheduled for Thursday (Feb. 1) at 3 p.m.
