Woman critically injured in hit-and-run on Detroit’s east side

DETROIT – Police in Detroit are investigating a hit-and-run that critically injured a woman Sunday, Jan. 21.

According to authorities, a 56-year-old woman was struck by an unknown vehicle at about 8:30 a.m. as she was walking on Morang Avenue, near Roxbury Street. She was rushed to a hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
