Police shoot 73-year-old barricaded gunman in Taylor

TAYLOR, Mich. – Officials say they’re investigating the shooting of a 73-year-old barricaded gunman in Taylor.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (Jan. 22) at 3 p.m. in the 11845 block of Polk Street.

There were no injuries to the police that were involved in the incident, but officials say the 73-year-old man was transported to a hospital in Taylor, where he is listed in critical condition.
