STURGIS, Mich. – A 31-year-old woman was arrested Saturday, Jan. 20, after reportedly stealing an Amish horse and buggy in West Michigan.

According to authorities, it happened while the victims were inside a Walmart in Sturgis, roughly 35 miles south of Kalamazoo. Police said a truck driver who was in the parking lot saw the woman steal the buggy and gave police a description. The woman reportedly was known to police after she had an interaction with them inside the Walmart earlier that day.
