Crews work to repair water main break in Northville

No boil water advisory issued

Crews were working to fix a water main break that happened early Friday morning in Northville.

The Great Lakes Water Authority said Friday it was working to isolate a break on a 24-inch water transmission main on Baseline Road, between Novi Street and Oakland Avenue in the city of Northville.

The break happened around 3:30 a.m. on Friday. Field Service crews are on-site working to isolate the break in order to assess the situation and begin planning for repair of the main.

No boil water advisory has been issued for surrounding areas.
