DETROIT – The field is set for a sold-out watch party Sunday at Ford Field.
Ford Field has put out four giant TV screens on the gridiron and the usual video boards to screen the Detroit Lions-49ers game in San Francisco.
“It was so amazing to see the support from fans and excitement all over town so we thought there’s no way we can’t throw a big party here on Sunday,” said Emily Griffin, Lions Senior VP of Marketing & Brand.
Ford Field is pulling out all the stops to create a game-day experience even with the team on the road.
“The cryo, pyro, streamers, performances by the cheerleaders, our mascot will be here, performances by the drum line,” Griffin said.
While tickets are sold out, some are still available on the secondary market. However, the Lions encourage caution when buying tickets that way.
