DETROIT – Police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead on Detroit’s east side Saturday, Jan. 27.
It happened on McCormick Street, between Balfour Road and Beaconsfield Street. According to authorities, police arrived at the scene just after 6 a.m. and found a man who had been shot. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide.
