PORT HURON, Mich. – A 23-year-old man is facing several felonies after a 15-hour standoff with police in Port Huron.
Police said officers were called to reports that the man had fired a round from a handgun after an altercation with his family. It happened at 5:25 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, in the area of 12th and Chestnut streets.
All family members inside the home were able to escape, except for a 16-year-old. The teen was held against their will, but was able to escape eventually, according to police.

Police said the 23-year-old man, who they identified as Joshua Frazier, barricaded himself in the house and was armed with multiple firearms. He was also seen wearing body armor. He fired several additional rounds and did not comply with police when they told him to exit the home.
Police said Frazier continued to shoot at police from inside the home during a 15-hour standoff. He reportedly shot a drone that was being used by tactical teams and shot at a Michigan State Police armored vehicle, causing minor damage.
He was taken into custody at about 9 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4.
On Monday, Feb. 5, Frazier was arraigned on charges of unlawful imprisonment, assault with a dangerous weapon, firearms discharged in an occupied building, wearing body armor during the commission of a felony, resisting/obstructing a police officer and three counts of felony firearm. His bond was set at $500,000, cash/surety.
He is expected to return for his probable cause conference Feb. 13.
