A large seizure of narcotics as a result of a search warrant yielded over a kilogram of cocaine, two kilograms of heroin, and over a half kilogram of fentanyl, delivery amounts of synthetic narcotics, one gun, and bulk currency.
The warrant occurred on Thursday (Feb. 8), which led to the arrest of a 44-year-old man, a 48-year-old woman, and a 22-year-old woman who all lived inside the residence where narcotics were being distributed.

The estimated street value of total narcotics at the dealer-to-consumer street level is approximately $500,000.
The Drug Enforcement Agency said one kilogram of fentanyl could kill up to 500,000 people.
Police say all three were arrested without incident and transported to the Warren Police Department Jail.
Members of the SID Unit began investigating the suspects in late 2023, where they established that narcotics were being distributed to residents in the Tri-County area.
Warren police Commissioner William Dwyer recognized the SID Unit’s efforts to rid the community of drugs.
“Our SID unit actively follows up on information and tips regarding narcotics sellers in Warren and Macomb County. Thanks to the efforts of the SID unit, a large amount of deadly narcotics and weapons are off the streets. I am confident that these suspects will be facing serious charges based on this investigation, possibly in the Federal Court System. This arrest should serve as yet another reminder that the Warren Police Department maintains a zero-tolerance approach to those suspected of selling illegal drugs in the community.”
