CANTON, Mich. – Police are investigating a homicide of a 19-year-old woman that occurred at the Comfort Suites hotel in Canton.
The incident occurred on Friday (Feb. 16) at 9:23 p.m. in the 5730 block of North Haggerty Road, where the woman was killed in an incident involving gunfire.

A man has been arrested at a nearby hospital following his involvement in a pedestrian accident, which required medical treatment, officials say.
The circumstances surrounding the accident and its connection to the homicide are under active investigation.
