MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. – A 54-year-old man from Warren has been convicted of sexually assaulting his great-niece.
According to authorities, Jerome Bowens had sexually assaulted his great-niece in Warren for two years, starting in 2017, when she was 7 years old.

A jury found Bowens guilty on two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct on Feb. 16. He is expected to be sentenced April 3. Bowens is facing a minimum of 25 years in jail.
