A 37-year-old man was charged with allegedly stabbing a woman during an armed robbery in Mount Clemens.
The alleged incident occurred on Tuesday (Feb. 27) when Jovaughn Harrington ran into an acquaintance at a gas station.

Officials said Harrington suggested the two meet later that day, and when they met, it is alleged that the 37-year-old tried to rob the woman, and when she resisted, Harrington stabbed her multiple times.
Police say the woman is in stable condition.
Harrington was charged with assault with intent to murder (Life felony), armed robbery (Life felony) and he is also being charged as a habitual fourth offender.
He was charged in Clinton Township District Court where bond was set at $150,000 cash/surety, no 10%. If released, he must wear a steel cuff tether, have no contact with the victim, have no possession of weapons or ammunition, and must have alcohol and drug testing.
A probable cause hearing is scheduled for Monday, March 11, at 8:30 a.m. via Zoom.
