CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A massive fire engulfed a distribution plant in Macomb County after dozens of people reported hearing an explosion across the area.
Officials asked everyone to avoid the area of 15 Mile Road and Groesbeck Highway in Clinton Township after the Select Distributions plant caught fire Monday night, March 4, 2024.
The plant is in the 19100 block of 15 Mile Road.
Several residents reported hearing an explosion. Officials said the impact of the fire is being felt at least as far as Mt. Clemens.
