PONTIAC, Mich. – One person was killed overnight when an argument escalated into a shooting at an Oakland County motorcycle club.

The shooting happened around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Pontiac Night Riders club in the 300 block of Raeburn Street in Pontiac.

Police said two men who knew each other got into an argument. The dispute escalated, and shots were fired.

A 42-year-old Pontiac man was struck once. He died shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday at a nearby hospital, officials said.

A 55-year-old man was arrested around 4:40 a.m. Wednesday at a motel.

Officials are preparing to present their case to the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office on Friday, at the earliest.

No other information has been revealed.
