2 brothers shoot each other during argument in Westland

Police say father died day before brothers shot each other

WESTLAND, Mich. – Police said two brothers shot each other during an argument in a Westland neighborhood.

The shooting happened Saturday, March 9, 2024, in the area of Van Born Road and Marshall Drive in the Fairfield Glade Neighborhood.

Police said the brother’s father died the day before the shooting. It’s unclear whether his death led to the shooting.

Both men were injured and transported to a hospital. Police have not released information on their conditions.
