DEARBORN, Mich. – A sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl has shaken up even some of the most veteran police officers.
The incident began in Allen Park with an attack on a teen and led to the sexual assault of two sisters in Dearborn.
The victim, a 13-year-old girl, ran to a nearby home and screamed for help. Police said she was at a sleepover on Sunday, March 17, when a 52-year-old man brutally attacked her in a sexual assault.
Allen Park Police Chief Chris Egan said his investigators developed a name and a manhunt featuring multiple municipal police forces began.
In Dearborn, police said a woman in her 70s and a woman in her 80s were “severely abused and sexually assaulted,” by the same man. He reportedly knocked on their door, told them their roof needed work and pushed his way into the home.
