DEARBORN, Mich. – Prosecutor Kym Worthy has charged Michael Shawn Holcomb, 52, of Ecorse, with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl from Allen Park.
The assault occurred Sunday (March 17) at 8 a.m. at a home on Meyer Avenue in Allen Park where allegedly the 52-year-old man physically and sexually assaulted the teen before fleeing.
Officials say Holcomb was in the home in Allen Park during a sleepover that included the 13-year-old girl.
Later that day, Holcomb, who is a registered sex offender, assaulted two elderly sisters.
Holcomb reportedly knocked on their front door on Carlysle Court in Dearborn and told the women their roof needed work. He then pushed his way into the home and attacked them.
One of the sisters was 85, and the other was 78. Officials said one woman had mobility issues.
Holcomb has been charged with six counts of criminal sexual conduct first-degree, six counts of criminal sexual conduct third-degree, one count of unlawful imprisonment, one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm by strangulation, and one count of criminal sexual conduct fourth-degree.
The 52-year-old will be charged on March 26 in 24th District Court at 9 a.m.
“The alleged facts in this case will show that this defendant is a dangerous person whose predatory behavior seems to know no bounds,” said Worthy.
“This is one of the worst cases I’ve seen as a sworn police officer for over 28 years,” said Allen Park Police Chief Christopher Egan. “I have full faith in our Detective Bureau and the Wayne County Prosecutor to find justice in this case.”
