WIXOM, Mich. – A man from Oakland County is accused of stealing $18,000 worth of trading cards from several stores around the area.
Daniel Glenn Jackson, 35, of Farmington Hills, was monitored by police at 10:30 a.m. April 4, 2024, as he entered the Meijer in Wixom. Officials said they had learned he would try to steal several trading cards on that date.
Jackson was taken into custody as he left the Meijer. Police said the arrest was made based on charges from thefts at stores in surrounding cities.
A “large quantity” of stolen trading cards were found in Jackson’s car, officials said.
Meijer loss prevention detectives estimate more than $18,000 worth of stolen property was found.
Jackson was charged with receiving and concealing bretween $1,000 and $20,000 worth of stolen property. He was arraigned at 52-1 District Court and given a $10,000 bond, cash/surety.
He’s being held at the Oakland County Jail.
