DETROIT – Detroit is on the clock as the NFL draft is approaching.
The city is more than 15 days away from announcing the first pick from the Detroit Lions division rival Chicago Bears of the NFC North.
Construction on the colossal structure where the picks will be made will occur downtown on Wednesday (April 10).
Prepare for a spectacle: Between 300,000 and 400,000 people are expected to flock to the city over three days for this monumental event.
With that many people expected downtown, security will be high with all hands on deck for Detroit police, so police Chief James White is talking about all that’s going into it.
