DETROIT – An estimated 300,000–400,000 people will be coming to Downtown Detroit for the 2024 NFL Draft.

With all those people, getting around will be tricky. Mayor Mike Duggan and other officials announced Thursday, April 11, plans the city has to make sure it’s as easy as possible for fans to attend.
With nearly everyone in the country looking forward to the NFL Draft, downtown Detroit is going to be the premier destination that everyone’s heading to in a few days. Duggan made it clear that parking will be extremely hard to come by when the event is going on.
As a result, several alternatives are in place. The People Mover will be running 24/7 for the duration of the draft. You can also take a trip downtown via the QLine. On top of that, shuttles will be running all through downtown, including from the Wayne State area and Corktown.
If you want to come out to the event, you need to start planning now.
