Detroit police search for men involved in brutal attack of 44-year-old man

Men attacked victim with baseball bats

DETROIT – The Detroit Police Department is looking for two men who were involved in an aggravated assault.

The assault occurred on Tuesday (April 2) at 1:36 p.m. in the 14200 block of East Jefferson Avenue when the two men attacked a 44-year-old man, striking him with baseball bats in the parking lot of a party store, then fleeing the scene together in a white Chevy pick-up truck.

The 44-year-old man was treated for his injuries at a Metro Detroit hospital.

The first man is described to be in his late 20s-early 30s, wearing all-black clothing. The second man is described to be in his late 20s-early 30s, wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans.
