CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Many of the animals at the Macomb County Animal Control shelter have had their adoption fees sponsored.
Macomb County Animal Control is hosting the adoption event from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024. The adoption fees have been sponsored, which means many of the homeless shelter pets can be adopted at low cost to their new family.
Macomb County Animal Control said their shelter dogs go through behavioral assessments to make sure they’d make a good pet. All the animals have been spayed or neutered, received appropriate vaccinations, tested for heartworm or FeLV/FIV, provided with prevention, and microchipped.
Meet the adoptable pets at Macomb County Animal Control at macombgov.org. Regular adoption hours are from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Macomb County Animal Control will be included in the Bissell Pet Foundation Empty the Shelters event from May 1 through May 15.
