MACOMB COUNTY, Mich. – A drug bust by the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of two men in Sterling Heights.
The large drug busts occurred on Thursday (May 16) by the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET) in Sterling Heights.

Officials say Kyle Derouin, 25, from Sterling Heights, was arrested for his alleged involvement in distributing large amounts of cocaine in Macomb County.
The SET investigation, which led to the search warrant, caused the property seizure of:
- Approximately 16 grams of cocaine
- Nine Adderall pills
- $56,728.00 in cash
- Four pistols
- Two rifles
- Two shotguns
- Multiple boxes of ammunition
- Dodge Ram
Derouin was arrested without incident and arraigned at the Macomb County Jail, where he was charged with:
- Count 1: Controlled substance – delivery/manufacture (cocaine, heroin, or another narcotic) less than 50 grams – a 20-year felony
- Count 2: Weapons felony firearm – 2-year felony
- Count 3: Controlled substance – possession of analogues.
Bond for the 25-year-old was set at $25,000, with 10% cash/surety.
Dennis Lasater, 48, from Sterling Heights, was also arrested and charged with one count of controlled substances, possession (cocaine, heroin, or another narcotic) less than 25 grams, which is a four-year felony.
Lasater received a $5,000 personal bond.
