Officials say Gilleylen was charged after an investigation into a complaint alleging she worked as a registered nurse at three Oakland County nursing facilities when she was not licensed as a registered nurse.

The investigation established that she worked as an R.N. under the name “Cassandra Alvera Bowens” at Mission Point of Clarkston, Mission Point of Holly, and Wellbridge of Clarkston from Sept. 24, 2023, through March 5, 2024.

Allegedly, Gilleylen was not an R.N. while working at those facilities and did not possess the requisite licensure or educational background.

The 52-year-old woman was charged in Oakland County, where she was granted a $75,000 personal recognizance bond. She is next due in court for a probable cause conference on June 4 at 2 p.m., and a preliminary examination is scheduled for June 11 at 2 p.m.
