CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two Macomb County men have been arrested after they fell for adults pretending to be children on dating websites and arranged to meet with those fake kids for sex, officials said.

Arrest at Chesterfield Township home

Police said Dylan Michael Bishop, 22, of Chesterfield Township, spoke with two adults who were posing as a child on an online dating platform.

Bishop texted the fake child and agreed to meet at a home in Chesterfield Township to have sex, according to officials.

The arrest was made at 11:07 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Arrest at Walmart

The next day, Christopher Anthony Paul, 36, of Macomb Township, spoke to the same two adults posing as a child on a dating app and agreed to meet at Walmart for sex, police said.

The adults called police when Paul arrived at the Walmart in Chesterfield Township, and he was taken into custody.

The arrest was made at 7:49 p.m. Sunday.
