Legal troubles continue to mount against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, with CNN reporting federal investigators are preparing to bring accusers before a federal grand jury.
Since November of 2023, eight civil lawsuits have been filed against Combs, seven of them accusing him of sexual assault.
One of those cases was filed in December of 2023 on behalf of a woman with Michigan ties, referred to only as Jane Doe.
Jane Doe was 17 years old at the time and living in Metro Detroit.
The criminal complaint, which comes with a trigger warning, alleges Jane Doe met Harve Pierre, the longtime President of Bad Boy Entertainment, at a lounge in the Detroit area in 2003.
Pierre reportedly told Jane Doe he was “best friends” with Combs and called on the phone.
She alleges Combs, who was 34 years old at the time, convinced her to get on a private jet with Pierre and another man to go to his studio in New York City.
The plane landed in New Jersey, where SUVs were awaiting their arrival. She and three other men were driven to his recording studio. While there, she says she was given drugs and alcohol.
A statement from a complaint says:
“As the night wore on, the 17-year-old Ms. Doe became more and more inebriated, eventually to the point that she could not have possibly have consented to having sex with anyone, much less someone twice her age.”
The complaint goes on to say Diddy and two other men assaulted Jane Doe. Afterward, she says she was helped to a car, drove to an airport, and flown back to Michigan.
Since her lawsuit and several other lawsuits were filed, Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by federal agents.
At the time, sources told NBC News that guns were found and his phones were seized as part of a federal investigation.
Sources familiar with the matter also say at least four people have been interviewed about allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and other criminal activity. Combs has denied all of the allegations.
